LARRY’S CASTING KIDS – FISHING DERBY
Sponsored by the Pekin Park Foundation

Join us for a day of fishing at the beautiful Mineral Springs Park Lagoon! All those who pre-register will receive their own Larry’s Casting Kids T-shirt. The fishing derby is held on a Saturday with trophies, bait, breakfast, and prizes. Participants under 14 will need an adult buddy (with a fishing license) to make a two-person team. All participants ages 16 or older must have a valid State of Illinois Fishing License. The Derby starts at 8 a.m., and weigh-ins begin at 10 a.m. Anyone not in the weigh-in line at 10 a.m. will not be eligible for prizes. Pre-registration is required. Registration must be completed online or received in the recreation office at Veterans Memorial Arena by Tuesday, July 11 at 5:00 pm to guarantee a T-shirt.
