Likely the most anticipated event of the Marigold Festival, Art in the Park returns this year with a vendor lineup that is sure to keep you excited through every turn! Shop on Saturday, September 9th from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and again Sunday, September 10th from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Gather along Broadway Road as we celebrate the menagerie of organizations and businesses who make Pekin an amazing place to live, work and play! The parade route begins at 14th Street with the theme, Marigolds on the Menu! The parade line-up will be posted at www.pekinmarigoldfestival.com and on Facebook on Wednesday, September 6.
The Marigold Mile Sprint kicks off the Marigold Festival Parade on Saturday morning! The start time is 10 a.m. With check in/registration beginning at 9 a.m. at Vonderheide's parking lot. This demonstration is nostalgic and where #marigoldmemories are made. Lanterns will be available for purchase during the Marigold Festival. Write a memory or wish on your lantern or honor a loved one. The lanterns will be cast into the lagoon at dusk.
